Telehealth for the practice of functional medicine and/or chiropractic uses remote, HIPAA compliant technology that allows you the benefit of seeing Dr. Stauceanu from the comfort of your home, office, or wherever you happen to be provided that a secure phone or internet connection can be provided for your safety and privacy.

In most cases, in order to establish a doctor-patient relationship an in-person visit will be required for the initial visit and physical examination. Subsequent visits to discuss laboratory findings and establish your individualized plan of care may be done via the secure, HIPAA compliant Zoom app or by phone.

If an in-office visit is not feasible due to distance, transportation issues, or any health reasons, and if Dr. Stauceanu a virtual visit is appropriate and necessary, then a telehealth visit will be set up for your initial and any subsequent visits necessary for you attain True Health through our office.

A healthcare provider is required to be licensed in the state where you, the patient, claim legal residence. If you reside outside Colorado, or California, where Dr. Stauceanu is fully licensed to practice chiropractic and functional medicine, he can file a request for telehealth licensure in your home state in order to be able to establish a doctor-patient relationship evaluate and treat you as required by law.

It is Dr. Stauceanu’s responsibility to ultimately make the final decision whether the telehealth visit is appropriate or an in-office visit is necessary for your particular needs.

Please be aware the doctor will not be able to evaluate and treat your specific health needs without establishing a doctor/patient relationship and proper licensure. Instead, Dr. Stauceanu’s communication with you will be for educational purposes only.

In the event you are not ready to establish a doctor/patient relationship with Dr. Stauceanu you can make an appointment for a “Ask Dr. Stauceanu” consultation where you can ask him general questions regarding your health condition.

For your convenience, Dr. Bogdan Stauceanu/4TrueHealth Functional Center may make available to you the recording of your Call at your request.
