Meet Dr. Bogdan Stauceanu, DC, CFMP

There is an ancient proverb dating from as far back as the 6th century BC, “Medice, cura te ipsum” which translated means “Physician, heal yourself.”

The truth is, this is how the 4TrueHealth Functional Center came into existence.

From an early age I suffered from numerous respiratory infections, especially from severe sinus infections. The only remedies that truly helped me were my grandmother’s herbal infusions. While vacationing up in the mountains away from the pollution of the big city, my ailments went away only to resurface as soon as I returned home. This continued into adulthood until my wife and I moved from the serene, quiet beach town of San Clemente in southern California, to the beautiful Pikes Peak area of Colorado in 2016. I have never again experienced a sinus infection.

I have been in chiropractic practice since 1997 having had the privilege to help hundreds and hundreds of patients restore and maintain their newfound True Health.

It was around 2016 when I had to face several inflammatory, autoimmune issues that made me rethink my approach to health. I realized that although people were getting better from my treatments I was only addressing the tip of the iceberg, only their symptoms.

Starting in 2017 I have dedicated my time studying and researching how to get to the bottom of the iceberg, how to get to the root of the problem, how to correct it, and reach a state of True Health naturally. This is how I discovered the tenets of Functional Medicine and in 2020, after several hundred hours of rigorous studying and complex testing I became a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner graduating from the Functional Medicine University. A certification in Nutritional Pathology and Functional Medicine followed.

I consider myself a lifelong learner and, as people tease me, a perpetual student.

When I’m not studying or doing clinical research, I enjoy reading my Bible or an old history book, spending time with my family, hiking, traveling, or playing the piano.

One funny thing about me is that I used to say the best campground was a luxury hotel. My wife and I discovered a middle ground, glamping, and we are hooked.

In summary, I love God and my family, I enjoy the outdoors, and do my best to get to the root of any clinical problem so we can all live our lives for True Health.
